Spiced Sweetpotato and Banana Smoothie

For 2 portions:

1 large ripe banana
1 medium cooked sweetpotato
150g Greek yogurt
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ tsp ground ginger
250ml milk
2 tsp maple syrup

Directions

  1. Peel and cut the sweetpotato in 1cm cubes and cook in boiling water until soft. You can use a knife or fork to puncture the cubes to ensure they’re cooked.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and serve in tumbler glasses.
